Wired for weird

Well it’s gotten to the point where you get so far behind something it’s intimidating to go back…I have been writing…just not umm…posting…

Far too much exciting news though…I realize I haven’t written about London, Berlin, Italy, my mothership visit, the cast on my arm, my last weekend with 50,000 people on an abandoned soviet air field, visa and school news as well as running away to the circus for the summer, while living on a little island. Anyways, all that can come later. Here’s a whatnot I wrote the other day and a picture I drew….fingers crossed for tomorrow!

You are weird.

Okay. ?

It’s funny how we brush past such glimpses of what it supposedly means to be part of this human race. I was sent the sweet little note of “You are weird” and of course I replied without much thought with a “I thought that was a given?”. The problem is though, weird. Why did I deem it as an insult? Probably because it was meant as one, however why. Is that really such a bad thing? It’s less about me being weird and more about the idea of our ability to make uniqueness such a terrible trait. But we knew that. I’m not saying anything new here, I’m very aware. What am I attempting to sputter out exactly? Or could it be another one of my momentary hits of reality. Momentary I promise you. I did spend a little while looking at the statement given to me though. You are weird. Of course, technically and denotatively meaning more to the supernatural, weird however usually in meant in such a way. It’s nice to think people think I’m ‘unearthly’ though, not quite the case. However, here I go again getting all ego wrapped up here, because really, it’s not about me. My point, that is, has less to do with me and instead what there is to be afraid of in something possessing something a bit out of the norm. Yes, of course artists are angsty and different and whatnot, we’re all tortured and the young ones are emo. Which in itself is contradictory due to the harder to try to be out of a group, the more you create one for yourself. But we already knew that. So what am I saying here? Well…who ever knows really…

Well it's about time you added some new thoughts to this thing. Nice to hear you're still taking over the world.

Miss you, ya big weirdo. :P
(Funny how, from me, it's a term of endearment.)
